A Divine Expanse ( Adyathmik Bodh )
In these works, done at ITM camp in Vadodara, I have used the form of a snake, as a symbol in Hindu mythology, personified as God and its
presence in the fantastical landscape I have created. The charisma of god is
omnipresent in everything existing in this universe as in this area on my canvas.
My paintings portray
the present occurring around
me and my reflections of these occurrences. Also embedded are
recollections
from my past that appear from the nostalgia brought about by my
memories. An endeavor to suggest a subtle surrealistic feel or ‘an
atmosphere’ on the
canvas.
